Windscreens are more of a necessity than an option for most court owners. The name “windscreen” implies that the primary purpose of this product is to block the wind. While windscreens do provide some wind blockage, their primary functional purpose is to provide a solid backdrop behind the baseline to better pick up the tennis ball while it is in flight. In addition to their functional benefits, windscreens simply make your court look more professional.
There are two basic categories of tennis court windscreens – custom tennis windscreens and DIY (Do it Yourself) tennis windscreens. Custom tennis windscreens are manufactured to precisely fit each section of your tennis court fencing. The measurements for each section of fence are taken on site and provided to 10-S Tennis Supply. We then manufacture each piece to your size specifications and ship them to you. Each piece arrives ready to install, with grommets on the top, bottom and sides for easy installation. The vast majority of our customers, including clubs, condominiums, apartments, private court owners, colleges and municipalities utilize custom tennis windscreens. We offer several different types of custom tennis windscreen and they are usually purchased in 6’ or 9’ heights. Check out our section on Custom Tennis Windscreens here.
DIY tennis windscreens are shipped in a box in a single long piece – typically 120 linear feet. The 120’ long DIY windscreen includes grommets on the top and bottom. The installer cuts this long piece into smaller pieces on site to fit the different sections of the tennis court fence. DIY tennis windscreens are primarily utilized by K-12 schools and municipalities. We offer several different types of custom tennis windscreen and they are usually purchased in 6’ or 9’ heights. Check out our section on DIY Tennis Windscreens here.
Tennis can be a very taxing sport – lots of running, sliding and activity is required to sustain a rally! This is why it is imperative to offer seating near your court to provide a place for your players to rest between games and sets. Court benches are a “must-have” amenity for every tennis court. We offer a variety of court benches in different styles, lengths and colors. Check out our section on tennis court benches here.
Most tennis players come to the court with more than their racquet and a can of tennis balls! Most will carry their personal affects as well, including keys, cell phone, wallet or purse, refreshments, etc. It is really helpful to have a convenient place to store these items and that is where a court organizer comes in. Court organizers include a storage tray and trash receptacle that mounts to the tennis net post. Most courts have them! Check out our section on Court Organizers here.
If you are serious about tennis, you should be keeping score! Our line of Scorekeepers make this easy – no more guessing the number of games or sets you have won. These scorekeepers mount to the net post or net and make it more fun to play the game. Check out our section on Scorekeepers here.
Water Coolers & Cooler Stands
Every tennis court should have easy access to drinkable water. We offer both electric water fountains and Igloo Coolers to make it easy for you to provide water for your tennis players. If you decide to use Igloo Coolers, we have several attractive cooler stands for you as well. Check out our section on Water Coolers here.
If you ever plan to host tournament play on your tennis court, an umpire chair is a great accessory to have. Umpire Chairs provide an elevated view for your tennis official so they never miss a “let” or line call. We have a variety of Umpire Chairs available for you to review. Check out our section on Umpire Charis here.
If you only have one court, then you probably won’t need a court number – after all, you are always playing on Court #1! However, if you have a multi court facility, you really need court numbers for each court to effectively schedule and assign courts. We have a variety of styles of court numbers available for you to review. Check out our section on Court Numbers here.
If you have a Har-Tru clay tennis court, then you need to have a shoe cleaner next to your court. You definitely do not want your players or guests tracking Har-Tru clay throughout your facility! There are a variety of shoe cleaners available for review, including both water-activated shoe cleaners and brush activated shoe cleaners. Check out our section on Shoe Cleaners here.
